Quinn Exam
For my exam i was supposed to make somewhat of an ad or poster board for my work. I made a gradient background to start off and used a grid to place my pictures. I placed all my images one small grid box off the edge and with the gradient background it created its own border. My biggest challenge was making it all look centered and even. I had a great time in digital imaging this year and hope to continue my work thanks mrs b!

For these two images i took original photos of myself and cut out just the image of roughly just the top half of my body. I then added original backgrounds to completely change the mood of the photo. My biggest challenge for this was drawing the background. For some reason or another i really struggled with the draw tool here.
color wheel
For this color wheel assignment we were supposed to take 6 original photos and shape them into a color wheel. I chose to use all original photos i have taken on my phone of different landscapes/ views. I arranged them in order of color and just simply stacked one on top of the other. My biggest challenge with this assignment was getting the color filter just right on the photo without ruining the integrity of the natural image.

Met
Edwin Church "banner in sky"
I like this photo because i really like good landscape shots which this is, but then it also has an american flag in the sky. The photographer created a pastel effect with this and used lines of the night sky mixed with the dawn sky to create a flag. He is trying to be subtle by not fully putting in the flag, but you can still tell what he is driving at.

ABC
For this project i made an alphabet using a neon shoe lace to make it appear it had been sketched. I enjoyed the challenge of creating your own lettering. I struggled with making the shoe laces look sketched and not quite so sloppy. Overall i enjoyed this project and would do it again
Batesville Day
For this project we were supposed to create a cover for a T- shirt for the annual batesville day festivities. I chose to put the two main events and the live music along with catering on the cover. The biggest challenge with this was to get the font in the right color and size and evenly spacing the text. In the end i enjoyed this project.

Chairs
Artist statement
This assignment was to take an image of a chair a warp a different pattern to the chair. When approaching this assignment i focused on being sure to get the line patterns in the right direction so i didn't lose the form of the chair. I was inspired by some of the example images we were shown before we started this project. The main principle of design that i used was warping the image and making sure my drop shadow looked realistic. I am satisfied, but not thrilled with my work if i were to do it again i would choose alternate patterns for the chair that could have made it look more realistic.
